LAHORE - The PPP has decided to provide access to some 6,000 officer-bearers from across the country to Bilawal House Lahore on the occasion of its Foundation Day on November 30th.
This was decided at a meeting of party’s Punjab Executive Council held here on Friday with Mian Manzoor Ahmed Wattoo in the chair. Divisional Coordinators, District Presidents and Information Secretaries of all districts attended the meeting.
Wattoo informed the meeting that Foundation Day convention would be held inside the Bilawal House in which about 6,000 workers and office-bearers from all over the country would be allowed to participate.  Giving the break up, he told the meeting that some 4,000 office- bearers from Central Punjab and 1000 from South Punjab would be attending the convention while rest of 2,000 would be from the rest of the provinces. He asked all of the office-bearers to send their list of delegates to the party Secretariat by 24th of this month.
He said that the allocation of the delegates had been fixed keeping in view the convenience of the delegates hailing from the far-flung areas. In his introductory remarks, Wattoo said that the Chairman and Co- Chairman were expected to arrive in Lahore three or four days ahead of the convention. The PPP Punjab, he said, would establish camps for them in the closest proximity of the Bilawal House. He said that Senator Jehangir Badar as a Chief Coordinator was extending full co-operation and the progress regarding the convening of the convention was quite satisfactory.
