LAHORE - Young Nurses Association continued its protest on Friday and staged a sit in outside the Admin Block of Jinnah Hospital against improper behaviour of a doctor at ICU. Nurses stayed away from all wards except Emergency, ICU and Labour Rooms, causing huge difficulties to patients. Reportedly, Dr Ashar misbehaved with nurses at ICU a couple of days back.

The nurses informed the administration and later started protesting to press for the demand of transfer of Dr Ashar.

Rejecting invitation of DG Health Dr Zahid Pervaiz for negotiation at his office, the YNA vowed to continue protest till action against Dr Ashar. YNA leaders Rozina Manzoor, Saeeda Farid and Shehnaz Kausar said that the doctors, who were already found misbehaving with patients and their attendants, were now targeting nurses.
