LSE hosts 5th AMDIP conference

LAHORE (Staff Reporter): The Lahore School of Economics hosted the 5th AMDIP conference on management challenges and business transformation.

On the occasion, Dr Ishrat Hussain, chairman of AMDIP and director of IBA, Karachi, discussed the management issues he had faced during his period at AMDIP. He suggested that family businesses must be promoted in Pakistan. He also talked about an organizations developmental stages. He added that at every stage a different kind of leadership style is needed unlike the way we run things; hiring one person and keeping him through the entire process of developing stages.

Dr Hassan Sohaib Murad - Rector UMT, Chairman NBEAC, while sharing his views regarding event, explained that AMDIP is a voluntary institution which promotes participation, innovative idea and training of new faculty members. In his speech, Dr Shahid Amjad Chaudary, Rector Lahore School, acknowledged the work done by all the members and congratulated each and every one. A question answer session was also held followed by a ceremony in which the speakers were awarded with certificates.

Students of HU awarded scholarships to study in

Turkish universities

LAHORE (PR): A ceremony was organized at Hajvery University Euro Campus in honor of 80+ students awarded scholarships to study at HU-partner universities in Turkey. Guest of honor, Director International Office Fahd Sheikh, congratulated the students on being awarded this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Rector Hajvery University, Prof Dr. Khalid Pervaiz, encouraged students to play a positive role during their studies in Turkish universities to bring a good name to their university as well as their country, Pakistan. Prof Dr Naeem Khan Afridi, Dean, HU School of Engineering urged students to work hard day and night to obtain success for themselves and bring laurels for their beloved nation.
