Islamabad - David Hale, United States Ambassador to Pakistan, has paid a visit to Faisal Mosque, International Islamic University, Islamabad. He was received by Dr Bashir Khan Vice President Academic, Gulzar Ahmed Khwaja Advisor A&F to President IIUI, Khalid Mehmood Raja Director General and other high officials of IIUI.
The US Envoy took keen interest in various parts of Mosque as he was briefed about it in detail.
David Hale was also briefed about International Islamic University, its academics programs, international linkages and particularly its outreach programs.
He was also made aware about the recently developed understanding between IIUI and University of North Carolina Wilmington USA for academic excellence by the authorities.
