MIRPUR (AJK)-AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan yesterday strongly condemned the incessant unprovoked firing by the Indian troops across the Line of Control (LoC) that resulted in the martyrdom of civilians besides seven Pak Army personnel over the past few days.

Talking to various public representative delegations on Monday, the AJK Prime Minister denounced the unprovoked Indian firing and aggression in the Khuiratta, Nikyal and Bhimber sectors. Paid rich tributes to the martyred citizens and soldiers, Mr Farooq Haider called upon International community to take serious notice of the worst violations of LoC to protect civil population against the unfettered aggression by India. He also urged peace-loving nations to play their effective role in resolving the longstanding Kashmir dispute for durable peace in South Asia.

He regretted that Indian has turned the entire occupied Jammu and Kashmir into a police state where police and other occupying Indian forces are subjecting innocent Kashmiris to worst state terrorism and oppression with impunity.

Farooq Haider also condemned the continued arrest and house arrest of Hurriyat leaders in occupied Kashmir.
