ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Traffic Police claimed to have issued challan tickets to over 4000 cars for using pressure horns in Federal Capital during the ongoing year.

During a crackdown conducted by Islamabad Traffic Police, around 4050 cars were issued challan ticket, while the traffic police charged fine around Rs 1215000 to owners for violating the rule of law. Islamabad Police had also impounded over 4000 pressure horns and bulldozed them.

SSP Islamabad Traffic Police Malik Matloob said that we have started the drive to make Islamabad City a Noise Free City, and strict action would be taken against the people breaching the law.
