I am a retired DSP of Sindh Police. I bought a flat (A-003) for my son Meraj Hussain at Shangrilla Garden, Gulistan-e-Johar in November 1999. I paid full and final cost Rs 7,50,000/- as demanded by the builder. He promised to handover the flat in six months. I also booked two more flats for my two sons on installments. The builder charged the extra two lac for each flat claiming those were corner flats.

I paid Rs 4 lacs on the spot and while the Rs 1,60,000 in installments. He took Rs 5,60,000 for the said two flats and later I was told that the said flats were not corner flats and denied to accept more installments.

I then met the owner of the project Ch Tanveer Ahmed at his office of Maxim Advertising Company, Noble Heights Building, University Road. He offered to replace the corner two flats but I accepted only Flat No. A103 and the amount paid for two corner flats Rs. 5,60,000/- was adjusted in this flat but he did not fulfilled his commitment.

I had written applications to Chief Justice of Pakistan and Governor Sindh which were forwarded to Cantonment Executive, Cantonment Board Faisal. They called a meeting on June 7, 2013, where the builder promised to handover the flats to allottees as soon as the regularization building plan got approved by the Cantonment Board.

The said plan was approved on May 15, 2015, but the builder has not yet handed over the flats to the allot-ees. I request to honorable Chief Justice of Supreme Court Pakistan to look into the matter sympathetically so that my son’s suffering would come to end.
