Pakistan Occupied Kashmir legislative assembly has elected Raja Farooq Haider as leader of the House. In a voting held today, Raja Farooq of Muslim Conference secured 29 votes whereas his rival Sardar Yaqoob got 19 votes. Earlier, care taker Prime Minister Haji Yaqoob Khan advice the president not to summon assembly session. Talking to a private TV, President of Muslim Conference Sardar Ateeq Ahmed said president could postpone the session on the advice of prime minister but not on the demand of any candidate. Haji Yaqoob is a candidate, therefore, his advice is not being treated as advice of prime minister.
