KARACHI - The provincial ministers and advisors of PML-Q and PML-F, allies of PPP in Sindh as well as federal government, on Friday met with Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah separately at the CM House. They raised the issue of lack of cooperation towards their parties as well as finalisation of portfolios of their ministers. They urged for resolving of problems pending since long. A delegation of PML-Q Thatta led by Aijaz Shah Shirazi and comprising of Sindh Tourism Minister Ali Malkani, former Thatta district nazim Shafqat Shah Shirazi and PML-Q MNA Ayaz Shah Shirazi met with the CM Sindh and discussed the pending issue of their ministries portfolios. Though, President Asif Ali Zardari had finalised the redistribution of ministries for PML-Q, which had to vacate the three ministries including Environment and Alternative Energy, Sports and Rural Development for MQM, which rejoined the government. Sources said that despite the final approval, the Sindh CM had yet not approved issuing notification of portfolios for the PML-Q ministers. PML-Q ministers and leaders also raised the issue of lack of cooperation and complained that the local administration of the district was not cooperating with them. Qaim assured the PML-Q ministers of resolving their issues on priority basis. Meanwhile, Advisor to Chief Minister Sindh for Information Technology and PML-F leader Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh separately met with the CM at CM House. The President already assured PML-F chief Pir Pagara that the present ministries of their ministers will not be taken back for the MQM ministers. When contacted, Imtiaz Ahmed Shaikh told TheNation that he discussed the issues of his department and political matters, urging the chief minister to resolve the issues on priority basis. Shaikh also discussed the matters pertaining to IT Department particularly the provision of IT facility in all government departments so as to interlink them for prompt progress. Mark sheets dispatched to colleges: The Board of Intermediate Education Karachi (BIEK) announced on Friday that mark-sheets of Home Economics Part-I and Diploma in Physical Education for annual examination 2011 have been delivered to the colleges. As such, the scrutiny forms for the said examinations shall be accepted from October 24 to November 23, 2011. The fee and form should be deposited after due verification and endorsement from the section concerned at the booth of UBL in the BIEK; no form shall be accepted after the expiry of the date.
