LAHORE - The former Law Minister and PPP Senator Dr. Babar Awan Friday said that people in Punjab wanted change through PPP government in the province. Talking to reporters at the residence of local party leader, Akbar Khan where he had gone to condole the death of latters mother, Mr Awan said that change in Punjab had now become inevitable and nobody could stop it. Babar said that PML-N should abandon the practice of doing politics behind the institutions. He, however, did not elaborate which institution he was talking about. The PPP leader alleged that PML-N was using official resources to organise what he called its Jashan-e-Dengue rally on October 28. He said nation was waiting for a suo moto notice by the court in this regard. Criticising the PML-N for its planned political rally in Lahore, Awan said:Seven people died of dengue yesterday and elder prince of the chief minister also addressed seven rallies on that day. He said instead of attending funerals of those dying of deadly virus, Mian Nawaz Sharif had proceeded abroad for junket. He further alleged that a mad race in Punjab was going on to become billionaire.
