Punjab cancels Inter Part I results

The government of Punjab has cancelled Intermediate Part I results after students protest across the province due to blunders in the results as the pre-engineering students were given marks in biology and the pre-medical students were awarded marks in mathematics, report said on Saturday. Apart from this, there are many other systematic errors in the results which compelled a large number of students across the province to come to the streets and demonstrate against the Punjab government. The education minister said: We had introduced computer system for students facilities but employees could not operate it due to lack of professional skills in this regard. He said that the students who would like to get their papers rechecked, they would have to file an application in the board and the department would cooperate with them in every possible way. He said we would try our best to satisfy them at every cost.
