QUETTA - National Party senior vice president Senator Mir Hasil Khan Bezinjo has said that establishment is responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.

Talking to journalists in Turbat on Sunday, he said that if free and transparent elections were conducted in Balochistan, the NP would get an adequate position. He said the Balochistan national parties’ boycott in the last general elections provided an opportunity to the agents of establishment to form government.

The NP leader lashed out at the establishment saying, “A major part of the establishment is responsible for the deteriorating law and order situation of the province.” “Had Balochistan government played its role, the state agencies and Frontier Corps would have not controlled the power,” he said adding that the provincial government is fully responsible for the wrongdoings in Balochistan. Bezinjo said that the NP would field its candidates across the province in the upcoming general elections to stop the agents of the establishment. “If we boycott elections, it will be harmful for Baloch people,” he remarked.

He said that a Governor Rule is not the solution to the Balochistan issues. He said that the resources of Balochistan belonged to all nationalities living in the province and they had equal share and right on them. However, he clarified that if Pashtoons wanted to separate from Balochistan, the NP would be the first party which would announce its support in this regard.
