ISLAMABAD  – The teams of Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) and Pakistan Girls Guide Association delivered a lecture about road safety at Islamabad Model College for Girls, Panjgran which was attended by more than 1000 female students.

It is to mention that ITP and Pakistan Girls Guide Association have jointly launched a road safety awareness drive in educational institutions of Islamabad and a total of 68 institutions will be visited to acquaint students with traffic laws. This campaign will continue till December and workshops are being held at government educational institutions. The workshop of this sequel was held at IMCG Panjgran which was participated by more than 1000 girl students.

The education teams of ITP delivered lecture to the students and provided them information through multimedia. Female In-Charge Education team and representative of Pakistan Girls Guide Association also addressed  the participants and said that this campaign will be made successful.

SSP (Traffic) Dr. Moeen Masood, in his special message to the students of the college delivered by ITP’s education team, said the aim of holding such programs was to acquaint the people with traffic laws while inculcating better traffic sense among them. SSP (Traffic) said that ITP was doing its utmost effort to maintain traffic discipline in the city while conducting inspection through radars, to control over-speeding practices through cooperation of students. 

Principal Ms. Tasneem appreciated the ITP’s performance and stated that this force has improved the image of policing and ensured community policing through public co-operation and eliminated VIP cultur.
