LAHORE – Waste Busters beat Vogue Furniture 8½-7 to win the Newage Polo Cup here at the Lahore Polo Club on Sunday.
Babar Monnoo was the key player for Waste Busters who smashed three goals while Feroze Gulzar and Ahmad Nawaz Tiwana managed two goals each for the winners. Taimur Mawaz Khan of Vogue Furniture though burst impressive four goals yet he could not save his team to face the defeat. Shahzad Magoon managed two goals and M Samir Malik had one for the losers.
In the subsidiary final, Millat Tractors, having half goal handicapped advantage, defeated Adisseo by six and half to four goals.
