SIALKOT- A team of foreign media visited the Indian shelling-hit Sialkot border villages in Charwah Sector of Sialkot Working Boundary on Tuesday.

The foreign mediamen met with the affected people and sought details from them about the unprovoked intensified Indian shelling targeting the civilian population, which caused big losses of their properties and cattle.

They also inquired after the health of those injured in Indian shelling on Sialkot border villages during their visit to the Combine Military Hospital Sialkot.

Earlier, Sector Commander Chenab Rangers Sialkot Brig Waseem gave a detailed briefing to the mediamen about the Indian BSF hostilities in Sialkot border villages. He said that Indian BSF violated the ceasefire and targeted the civilian population in Sialkot border villages, violating the Ceasefire Accord.

He added that the Indian BSF targeted civilian population in Sialkot border villages on eve of every religious festival. Brig Waseem revealed, “Chenab Rangers are the most committed than the Indian Border Security Forces as the CR do not target the Indian civilian population.”

He said, “On every religious festival in Pakistan, the Indian BSF targets the civilian population in Sialkot border villages.” He ruled out any possibility of infiltration to India from Sialkot Working Boundary, saying that the Indian BSF had already erected fencing there, leaving no way of infiltration.
