Accordingly for the instant adjustment, 33.97GWh and cost of Rs. 390.23 million has been considered on account of fuel cost component of energy purchased from small and captive power plants. In its decision, NEPRA has complained that no representative of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), Sui Southern Gas Company Limited, (SSGCL), Ministry of Water & Power and Ministry of Finance attended the hearing despite service of notice.  NEPRA in its decision further stated that this increase would be applicable to all the consumer categories except lifeline and agriculture consumers of all the DISCOs. The authority has directed the concerned departments to show the increase separately in the consumers’ bilsl on the basis of units billed to the consumers in the month of August 2014. It further directed DISCOs to reflect the fuel charges adjustment in respect of August 2014 in the billing month of November 2014.
