Australia recorded an 89-run victory against Pakistan in the third ICC Women’s Championship fixture in Kuala Lumpur on Monday to win series 3-0.
Australia batted first in the match put on board a huge 324-7 total in 50 overs. Alyssa Healy batted brilliantly for the side scoring 97 runs off only 75 balls with the help of 14 boundaries and two sixes. Ashleigh Gardner also batted impressively scoring unbeaten 62 off only 37 balls with the help of six boundaries and three sixes.
Sana Mir bowled well picking three wickets for 53 runs in her ten overs. Anam Amin took two wickets for 63 runs. In reply to the Aussies, Pakistan scored 235-7 in the allotted 50 overs. Aliya Riaz top-scored for the side with 51 runs. Ashleigh Gardner captured three wickets for 44 runs.
Earlier, Australia had won the first two matches by five wickets and 150 runs to take an inaccessible lead in the series.
