LAHORE - The City received scattered showers on Tuesday afternoon, making weat-her pleasant by causing considerable decrease in the mercury level. Lahore received 03 mm rain. People come out of their houses in the evening to enjoy pleasant weather. Major parks and picnic spots attracted a large number of people including women and children. A huge rush was witnessed at Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Bagh-e-Jinnah, Racecpurse Park, Jallo Park, Lahore Zoo and other picnic spots in the City. On Tuesday, maximum and minimum temperature in the City was recorded 33.2 degree Celsius and 23.7 C respectively. Relative humidity in the morning was recorded 70 percent, which decreased to 69 percent in the evening. Turbat remained the hottest place in the country where mercury rose as high as 41 C. According to the experts, weak seasonal low lies over Balochistan and adjoining areas. Low pressure lies over western Uttar Pradesh (India). Local meteorological department has forecast cloudy weather with chances of rain for the City during the next 24 hours. Met office has forecast scattered rains with heavy falls at isolated places of northeastern and eastern Punjab and Kashmir.
