LAHORE - Lahore Bar Association (LBA) executive body Tuesday announced the unending boycott of the court of the District and Sessions Judge Lahore Sheikh Zawar Ahmad for his alleged continuous misbehaviour with the lawyers community. The LBA in a statement said the prolonged issue of the transfer of the Judge Zawar Ahmad remained unresolved despite the efforts of the lawyers. They said that lawyers would not attend his court till the transfer of the Judge. Talking to The Nation, LBA Secretary Qasim Hassan Bhuttar claimed that no lawyer on Tuesday appeared in the Judges court whereas it was witnessed that lawyers attended the court of Sheikh Zawar Ahmad in different cases. To a question, LBA secretary said the lawyers who attended the court of District and Sessions Judge will be suspended of their memberships of Lahore Bar Association. Mansoob separates himself from tribunal Mansoob Ali Zaidi has separated himself from the tribunal inquiring into the allegations that bunds and dykes in the flood-affected areas were broken in order to save the land of politically influential persons. Justice Mansoor Ali Shah is the head of the tribunal which has required the home department to appoint the third member without delay. Mr Mansoob expressed his personal reasons to withdraw from the tribunal.
