Federal police, notorious for grilling innocents and favouring the accused, have once again registered First Information Report (FIR) against a person who filed an application with Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) office and court to get justice. The complainant spent two months visiting every police offices to seek justice and with no other option left filed an application under section 22-A in court for registration of FIR. On the other hand, police have registered FIR against the complainant and obtained four days physical remand allegedly to torture and pressurise to withdraw his application from the court. This incident will raise more questions about the police force. Islamabad police have been trying to maintain high standards but this occurrence will not help them in succeeding.
