Disciplinary procedures are not only about penalising employees, but to make others aware of any unacceptable misconduct or performance issues. In our unjust society, where people placed at the helm of affairs are not reasonable, disciplinary actions are initiated on irrational and inhuman grounds, such as personal grudges or darker reasons such as sectarian or ethnic backgrounds. Careers of countless officials have been either damaged or destroyed by thick-skinned bosses because they believed in promoting discrimination and abusing ‘disciplinary action.’
