The singer started off as a part of girlband The Pussycat Dolls, alongside Kimberly Wyatt, Nicole Scherzinger, Melody Thornton, Carmit Bachar and Jessica Sutta. The band split in 2010, and since then the 33-year-old has produced solo record The Butterfly Effect.
Despite being a celebrity in her own right, Ashley still goes weak at the knees when she spots certain A-listers.
“I’ve met Justin Timberlake a few times, but I still don’t know how to speak to him,” she giggled to British magazine Star. “Also, I saw Leslie Mann the other day - she’s an amazing actress. She was at spin class in LA and I just shut down!” Ashley has been linked to UK TV presenter Matt Johnson in the past, but it’s thought she’s currently single. However, one of the things on her bucket list involves a romantic trip with a loved one.
“To go back to a certain place in the South of France with a loved one where I once saw a couple laying on the beach - they looked so in love and the water was crashing about them. It was like a movie!” she gushed, adding she’d also like to tick off filming a rom-com and having a house by the water.
One of the downsides of fame is the gossip, but Ashley has turned off her Google alerts to avoid reading anything about herself. Despite the pitfalls, there was never an alternate career path for the blonde star. “I was very passionate about what I wanted to do and it wasn’t in my mind to do anything else,” she stated.
