ISLAMABAD- Tariq Malik, Deputy Chairman National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA), has urged all the parents to get their children registered for Form 'B and update their particulars to avoid any urgent registration requirement. He said that earlier the Punjab Government had declared Form B mandatory for admission in IX and XI classes. Although the provincial government has extended this condition up till September, 2010 but I request the parent not to wait till implementation of such condition for admissions, he maintained. He said that the Authority had been publicising the importance of registration of all citizens including children through advertisement in print and electronic media. NADRA management has also given instructions to its regional offices to ensure timely processing of 'B Form and its early delivery, he added. About the processing fee, he said that normal fee announced by Authority was Rs 50 but the charges for urgent applications were RS 500 per application.
