ISLAMABAD (APP) - Peshawar city will witness the sun-powered streetlights soon, as a project has been set off in this connection on tentatively in the city to tackle the power crisis, a private news channel reported on Thursday. Peshawar Development Authority started the project in Hayatabad, where on two points, streetlights energised by solar energy, have been installed. A streetlight accompanies two batteries of 50 kilogram and solar plates. According to the PDA, these lights will be installed in different areas of Hayatabad if the pilot project turns out successful.
