LAHORE President Pakistan Hockey Federation Qasim Zia has given the permission to the three senior players for the rest from Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament. Zeeshan Ashraf, Waseem Ahmad and Akhtar Ali submitted their written applications to the PHF stated that they played too much hockey from the last year and they need rest for Azlan Shah Cup Hockey Tournament to be played in Ipoh, Malaysia from May 6 to 16. Secretary PHF Muhammad Asif Bajwa also discussed this matter with Chairman Selection Committee Hanif Khan and then President PHF Qasim Zia approved their applications.
