OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE The Pakistan Cycling Federation (PCF) is going to organise the ninth National Women Cycling Championship here in the city from April 28 to 30 at the Cycling Velodrome Gaddafi Stadium and Phase VIII DHA. According to the General Secretary PCF Idrees Haidar Khawaja, all the nine affiliated units of the PCF will take part in the competition including Balochistan, FATA, Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa, Punjab, Sindh, Army, Railways, Sui Southern Gas Company and Wapda. The teams will reach Lahore on April 27. He maintained that the championship will be a huge step in promoting the sport of cycling amongst the female population of Pakistan. The opening ceremony will be held at Cycling Velodrome Gaddafi Stadium on April 28 at 4:30 pm. Senior Executive Guard Group of Companies Shahryar Ali Malik will be the chief guest on the occasion.
