OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE A 22-year-old youth was killed while performing stunts on his motorcycle at Canal Road near Garden Town underpass, police and rescue workers said here Friday. Rescue workers said that the youth, later identified as Mohammad Aneeq resident of Gulshan-e-Rehman, was riding his motorcycle on the back wheel when he suddenly lost the control and his two-wheeler rammed into the footpath near Gulzar underpass in the precincts of Garden Town police late on Thursday night. The youth sustained serious head injuries and died on the spot. The police and rescue workers rushed to the spot and later handed over the dead body to the deceased family. Deaths during one-wheeling are common here in the town. The police say that they alone could not control the deadly sport. They said that the parents should come forward and educate their children about the deadly sports. Meanwhile, another 23-year-old youth died shortly after he fell down from his two-wheeler under mysterious circumstances here in Nawan Kot police area, police said. Mohammad Waqar was on his way home when he suddenly fell down from his motorcycle and died instantly in Nawan Kot police area. The police handed over the body to the deceased family and are investigating.
