KARACHI- CNG stations in Sindh and Balochistan will be remained closed today as agreed in the meeting of Sui Southern Gas Companys top management and the elected CNG associations representatives at its head office. The need for this decision arose in light of Bhit Gas fields closure for maintenance purposes. The Sui Southern Gas Company through advertisements has been requesting all its customers to voluntarily reduce their gas consumption by 15-20 percent, which will facilitate the utility in providing uninterrupted gas supply to all its valued customers throughout its franchise area during the period of the Annual Maintenance of Bhit Gas Field. The Sui Southern Gas Company regretted for the inconvenience to its consumers for the 36 hours without CNG electricity. Online adds: CNG stations throughout Balochistan and Sindh would remain shut for 36 hours from today (Saturday) till Sunday (tomorrow) noon as gas pressure lowered due to the annual repair of Bhit Gas Field.
