LAHORE (PPI) The Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd (SNGPL) has announced to launch one window facility for the provision of gas, besides resolving all issues faced by the industrialists of all the industrial estates working under Punjab Industrial Estates Development & Management Company (PIEDMC). This was announced by the Chairman SNGPL Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman at the meeting with a delegation of industrialist of Sundar and Quaid-e-Azam Industrial Estate headed by Mr. S.M. Tanveer, Chairman Punjab Industrial Estates here at SNGPL Head Office. It was also resolved that pending gas connections in all these industrial estates would be taken up on priority basis. A coordination committee at General Manager level was also set up to hold meetings on monthly basis in order to speedily resolve all issues. The issue of gas load shedding also came under discussion and the Chairman SNGPL assured that with the help of the Federal Government it would be resolved at the earliest. The participants deplored that government has banned installation of boilers in the factories. This action will hamper the industrial activities in the country. They demanded of the government to withdraw this decision immediately. It is to be noted that the PIEDMC is controlling the affairs of Sundar Industrial Estate, Quaid-e-Azam industrial Estate Lahore and Multan Industrial Estate Multan.
