Cheryl Cole for autumn arena tour

Cheryl Cole is reportedly planning her first solo tour for later in the year.
The singer wants to play arenas in support of her upcoming third album A Million Lights, the Daily Star Sunday reports. “Cheryl is desperate to do her own solo arena tour. She didn’t feel she had enough material in previous years but by the end of this year she’ll have three albums’ worth of hits,” a source said.
“Cheryl is so proud of her new album and wants her fans to be able to see her perform it live. There’s talk of Cheryl doing her own tour in the autumn, with the Girls Aloud reunion being pushed back to 2013.
“Cheryl wants to tour as soon as possible but it depends how successful the album is internationally.
It’s no secret she is hoping this will be the album to crack America and the rest of the world. If A Million Lights turns out to be a huge international hit she may be too busy promoting to tour until next year.”
A Million Lights is due for release on June 18 and will be preceded by new single ‘Call My Name’.
Girls Aloud recently held a meeting in London to discuss their 2013 reunion tour. –DS
