LAKKI MARWAT - A man was killed over a petty issue in Nar Faqeer Masoom area of Naurang town, police said on Sunday.
They said Baitullah, his brother Habibullah and nephew Fareedullah were standing outside their house when their rivals came there and started indiscriminate firing on them.
The complainant Habibullah who escaped the firing attack told police in his preliminary report that the accused Muhammad Gul fired at Baitullah, killing him instantly. “Another accused Zahid Gul sprayed me and my nephew Fareedullah with bullets but we luckily escaped”, he maintained, saying that two other accused Noor Aslam and Gul Aslam helped the attackers to flee the place by taking them away in a coach. Police registered a case and started investigation.
