LAHORE - A Muslim League delegation led by President Muslim League-N Barcelona (Spain) Nazir Ahmad Gondal and Vice President of Muslim League-N UK Basit Hamza Butt called on the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif, here on Sunday.

Organisational matters of the party were discussed during the meeting. Members of the delegation while appreciating the Daanish school system for providing modern educational facilities to the children of poor and hapless families said that it is a laudable step of Shahbaz Sharif due to which the dream of children of backward areas for getting quality education has materialized. The members of the delegation gave a cheque for Rs.8.5 lakh for Daanish Schools and announced that they will bear the educational expenses of five children of Daanish Schools on permanent basis.

The chief minister while appreciating the spirit of bearing educational expenses of five children and cheque for Daanish School by the delegation said that Punjab government had opened the doors of quality education for the children of poor families by setting up Daanish Schools equipped with modern educational facilities in far-flung and backward areas. He expressed the hope that the builders of the nation getting education from Daanish Schools will play their active role in progress and prosperity of the country.
