President Asif Ali Zardari Monday presided over the meeting of core committees of coalition partners in Sindh government to mull over the law and order situation in the metropolis.

Farooq Sattar and Shahi Sayd led the delegations of their respective parties--Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and Awami National Party (ANP)—with Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah leading Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) delegation in the meeting.

Talking to media after the meeting was over, Shahi Sayd said the meeting discussed exclusively Karachi situation.

Earlier prior to the meeting, he said peace cannot be established in the city until fresh constituencies are made on new census.
