FEROZWALA - Demonstration against 20-hour outages was staged by large number of labourers, shopkeepers, residents of Kala Shah Kaku on GT Road and adjoining localities. The demonstrators blocked traffic for two hours on Sunday. Due to which thousands of labourers have been tendered jobless, their families are facing starvation due to non payment of wages. The protestor’s leaders Rana Usman, Ch. Safdar, Waqas Afzal Khokhar and others said that more than 2000 industrial units in Sheikhupura and Nankana districts have closed due to energy crises. The rulers did not bother to resolve the unscheduled load shedding on permanent basis. They demanded solution to the problem without any delay otherwise the labourers, farmers, students and people from all walks of life would continue agitation on daily basis.
