Swabi/Quetta - Militants on Monday night targeted an Awami National Party (ANP) election office in Swabi, injuring two workers including the Pakhtun Students Federation District president.

The militants hurled a hand grenade at the election office of ANP candidate for PK-31 Swabi-1, Gul Zamin Shah, in Maneri.

As a result two people, including the Pakhtun Students Federation District President Osama, were injured.

District Police Officer Dr Saeed confirmed that the ANP election office was attacked with a hand grenade and that they have reports one person was injured who had been shifted to hospital.

Separately, militants targeted the vehicle of Central Secretary General Balochistan National Party (Awami), Asadullah Baloch in Panjgoor town of Balochistan on Monday. Militants had planted a remote controlled bomb on the road side in  Panjgoor.
