PESHAWAR  - Arbab Kamal, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) leader, has said that in recent past no one has diverted attentions towards the long standing problems being faced by the people of rural area of Peshawar.

“The Awami National Party is responsible for the backwardness of this areas as its candidates have been enjoying power since 1990,” he said this during different public gatherings in connection with his election campaign. Arbab Kamal has also addressed corner and public meetings at Urmar, Masho Gagar, Mair Kachoori, Badhabher.  On this occasion, a large number of people from different political parties and groups have announced supporting the Arbab Kamal in the elections.

Arbab Kamal belong to a famous Arbab family from Landi Arbab Peshawar is contesting from the NA-4 Peshawar.

The constituency comprises towns and hamlets from both sides on Kohat Road. Arbab Mohammad Zahir Khan was elected from this constituency in 1990, 1993 and Arbab Saadullah in 1997. In 2002 MMA’s Sabir Hussain Awan elected whereas in 2008 Arbab Zahir of ANP succeeded in retaining the seat. This time ANP fielded its veteran Arbab Ayub Jan from NA-4. Arbab Kamal is close relative of former MNA Arbab Zahir and his position is stated to be very stable in this area.

Highlighting his future plans, Arbab Kamal said that after winning polls, he would give first priority to supply Sui gas to his electorates.  Similarly, he said that lacking access to standard education, hospitals and educational institutions was another big issue in the area.

He said that it was astonishing that leading industrial estate existed in NA-4 but unemployment was on the rise.

In this connection, he said that he would convince all industrialists and entrepreneurs to ensure jobs to local people. Referring to deteriorating law and order situation in the region, Arbab Kamal attributed it to what he called wrong policies of the previous government.

He said that previous government with conducting of more than 30 military actions and operations inflicted heavy human and property losses on helpless and innocent people in both Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Fata.

He said that now for return of peace and normalcy, the JUI-F chief had constituted a jirga, which would establish peace through negotiations in the violence-hit areas of the province.

He said that in previous three decades, all elected representatives from this area had never fulfilled their prime responsibilities regarding addressing genuine needs and problems of people.

He said that under the dynamic leadership of Maulana Fazlur Rehman, JUI-F was determined for bringing in a revolution all over Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He urged the masses to vote JUI-F to power in upcoming general elections.
