KARACHI : KCCI and International Chamber of Commerce Pakistan, to uplift the economy and promote further international interaction between the business and industrial community in Pakistan and its counterparts internationally, have agreed to make a special joint ICC Pakistan-KCCI World Chambers’ Federation (WCF) Commission. The commission to be chaired by the Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry and co-chaired by International Chamber of Commerce Pakistan in advancing to enhance participation of Chambers in Pakistan with worldwide chamber movement.
This agreement was reached between President Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry Muhammad Haroon Agar and International Chamber of Commerce Pakistan Chair Tariq M Rangoonwala in the presence of Chairman Businessmen Group and former president KCCI Siraj Kassam Teli, KCCI’s office bearers and the Managing Committee members in a meeting held at Karachi Chamber.
President Karachi Chamber of Commerce & Industry Muhammad Haroon Agar stated that KCCI believes in optimum reciprocating to the nation. Maintaining highest level of ethics and social values, KCCI is committed to promote trade and industry, enhance exports, attract foreign direct investment and forge long-lasting business relations with its international business community.
International Chamber of Commerce Pakistan Chair Tariq M Rangoonwala recognized the role of KCCI in the socio-economic development of Pakistan and global business activities. He acknowledged the global presence of KCCI in the ICC’s World Chambers’ Federation maintaining membership and representation in WCF General Council.
