Pakistan U-14 football team has reached Iran to take part in the AFC U-14 qualifiers being played in Mashad from today (Tuesday).

The green shirts will launch their campaign in the event by taking on Turkmenistan on April 24 at the Samen Al Aemeh Stadium. Pakistan team will face Kyrgyzstan on April 26, arch-rivals India on April 28 followed by their last game against hosts Iran on April 29.

Pakistan team comprises Uzair (captain), Mudassar Younas, (vice captain), M Asad, Adeel Ali, Atta Ullah, Saif Ali, Zubair Umer, Yasir, Shahzeb, M Saqib Javaid, M Riaz, Saqlain Tariq, M Ikhlas, M Shahid, Shakeel Ahmed, Junaid Ahmed, Sulman Khan, Habib Ullah, Sheiryar Lasi and Majeed Khan. The officials are M Hassan Baloch(coach), Asghar Khan Anjum (assistant coach/ assistant manager), Sheikh Zahid Niaz (assistant coach) and Kamran Mehdi (physio).

Pakistan Football Federation (president) Faisal Saleh Hayat has wished the team good luck in the event and hoped it would produce a better brand of skilful football to live up to the expectations.
