Training camps for PSB’s inter provincial competitions

LAHORE - The training camps of the Sports Board Punjab (SBP) teams will be organised in the last week of this month for the preparation of the Pakistan Sports Board (PSB)’s Inter-Provincial Boys and Girls Competitions to be held at various venues of the country.
Top performers of the Punjab Youth Festival will be provided opportunity to exhibit their skills in the camps and then in the mega events. To give final shape to the games, a meeting was held at PSB Islamabad in which Sports Board Punjab Deputy Director Hafeez Bhatti represented the Punjab province.
According to schedule, the competitions will get underway with under-14 boys and under-16 girls competitions in Karachi from May 15 to 17. The boys’ taekwondo will be held in Hyderabad from May 6 to 8, the judo girls event will be organised in Islamabad from May 6 to 8, badminton boys and girls competitions will be played in Lahore from May 20 to 22 while hockey boys will be held here from May 20 to 24. Talking to the media, Hafeez Bhatti said: “We will select best possible boys and girls teams for the PSB inter-provincial events and their camps will be held under the watchful eyes of able coaches of the SBP. The schedule of the remaining games will be released soon.”
