Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Saturday said the government will follow the policy of political dialogue in tribal areas, however no one would be allowed to challenge writ of the government. "Political dialogue is our first option instead of military action in tribal areas," the Prime Minister told media persons as he visited Pakistan Ordnance Factory's (POF) hospital to inquire after the health of injured in Thursday's twin blasts. The Prime Minister strongly condemned the suicide blasts, which he said resulted in the loss of lives of "poor labourers, loyal Pakistanis and breadwinners of their families". He said the government was focusing on the socio-economic uplift of FATA areas and eradicate poverty which was the major cause of terrorism and extremism in the region.
