QUETTA - Balochistan Governor Nawab Zulfiqar Ali Magsi has shown readiness to continue as Governor Balochistan following request of Chief Minister Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani, sources told TheNation here on Friday. Governor Balochistan had expressed deep concern over the law and order situation on the eve of flag hoisting ceremony on August 14. He had accepted the office of Governorship with a resolve to bring peace in Balochistan but the province witnessed no improvement. Magsi said that he was seriously considering to tender resignation. However, after resignation of former President Pervez, Nawab Magsi tendered his resignation.  CM Balochistan Nawab Aslam Raisani and many other members of PA had requested Nawab Magsi to withdraw his resignation as he was acceptable Governor for all. They had also requested Prime Minister and Co-Chairman of PPP Asif Zardari for not accepting the resignation of Nawab Magsi.  When CM Balochistan Nawab Muhammad Aslam Khan Raisani arrived from Islamabad on Friday, he straight went to Governor's House and met the Governor and requested him for withdrawing his resignation. Magsi has shown readiness to work with the govt.
