Private schools refuse to close schools till 9 Sept

All Pakistan Private Schools Management Association (APPSMA) has rebutted to follow the orders of the Punjab government for closure of private educational institutions till 9 September. Sources said that, APPSMA by refusing to follow the directives of the provincial government said that this decision of government is as a tantamount of anti-educational policy. While the Central Chairman of the association has also filed petition against the decision. In which he stated that under this decision would waste the precious time of the students and would affect their studies. It has learnt that Punjab government had issued an orders for reopening of all educational institutions after Eid-ul-Fitr, however, most of the private schools and colleges have refuted the directions of the government for the reopening of schools as per the government's scheduled date. Now once again district government has issued an order and demanded the closure of all private educational institutions. Some sources said that this order has been issued in the wake of the havoc destruction of flood in various parts of the province. On the other hand parents also in a state of confusion that whether to sent their children to schools or not. Education Department Rawalpindi sources said that departmental action would betaken against the violators of the orders. However, Summer Camps can be continued for 5th to 10th grade from 7:30 am to 10:30 am. Students would be provided all facilities while there would not be any compulsion to wear uniforms.
