A hair-raising attraction has opened at the top of Torontos CN Tower - for those with a head for heights. The EdgeWalk allows daredevils to lean off the summit of the 1,168ft-high landmark. Plucky visitors are dressed in special jumpsuits and fitted with safety harnesses before carefully stepping onto a newly-constructed 5ft wide walkway. They then walk in groups of six while attached to an overhead safety rail via a trolley and harness system. Customers are breathalysed before participating and checked for objects which may fall 116 stories to the street. The 100 experience lasts an hour and a half, including a 30 minute outdoor walk. A spokeswoman says: Trained EdgeWalk guides are there to encourage participants to push their personal limits, allowing them to lean back over Toronto with nothing but air and breathtaking views of Lake Ontario beneath them.
