SIALKOT – A Pakistani villager was killed and two others were seriously injured by the unprovoked firing of Indian Security Forces on Sialkot border near Chaprar Sector on the second day of Eidul Fitr.

According to the senior officials of the Chenab Rangers,  the people were busy celebrating Eidul Fitr, when the Indian Security Forces started unprovoked firing on Sialkot villages due to which, Ghulam Nabi of village Puraaney Chak-Bajwat was killed and two were injured seriously. Reportedly, they were sitting in their houses at village Chaprar, when the mortar shells and bullets fired by Indian force hit them, killing him on the spot and injuring Amjad Ali and Khan Sahib seriously.

They were shifted to Sialkot Combined Military Hospital where their condition was stated to be critical.

The Indian forces also fired on Pakistani border villages in Charwah sector of Sialkot Working Boundary damaging some houses and cattle sheds and creating panic among the local people. However, the Chenab Rangers retaliated instantly and effectively.

It was the fifth major Indian shelling and aggression incident at the same Chaprar sector during the last six days.
