ISLAMABAD : Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited forward locations in South Waziristan to celebrate Eid with troops on Monday. While interacting with troops, COAS praised them for their courage and valour. He said that discipline, sense of duty and sacrifice are the hallmarks of a soldier.
The soldiers’ reward lies in enabling the nation to celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr in safe and secure environments. On arrival, Corps Commander Peshawar, Lieutenant General Khalid Rabbani received the COAS. Ends
