PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Finance, Eng. Humayun Khan, has said that the sitting provincial government is firmly determined to bring the far-flung and backward areas of the province at par with the developed areas for which all available resources are fully being utilized. He said this while talking to the people who had came to his residence at Jolagram from various areas of District Malakand to greet him Eid.Humayun said that PPP was the party of the downtrodden people. He said that its foundation was laid down by its founder chairman Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto for the rights of poor, peasants and labourers against the landlords, feudals and mill-owners. He said that Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, party office bearers, and workers also sacrificed their lives for this noble cause by suffering lashes and prisons but never stepped back from path of truth. Mr Humayun vowed that being followers of these martyrs, they would also follow their footprints and never compromised on principles.

The provincial minister said that the government during its present tenure so far has completed countless developmental schemes costing billion of rupees and their people were now being benefited of it. He added that these projects are in communication, health, education, public health engineering and agriculture sectors.

He assured that in future too, he will work with the same spirit and dedication for the public welfare. He called upon the party workers to start now preparations for the general elections and inform the public about the ground reality in reply to their baseless propaganda and foil all the politic tricks of the opponents logically.
