KARACHI - The National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) is celebrating its Golden Jubilee on completion of 50 years of service to the people of Pakistan.
The Institute was established in 1963 and being the first tertiary care center of Indian sub-continent, has been serving the entire nation by providing state of the art care to the poor and needy patients of country besides benefiting thousands of patients from neighboring countries like Iran and Afghanistan.
Being the center of training and post graduate education the Institute has trained a bulk of manpower as specialists and paramedics in the field of cardiology and cardiac surgery. According to the details three days Golden Jubilee celebrations has been scheduled that will start on August 23 by holding Public Awareness Program on Sudden Cardiac Death at Conference Hall of NICVD.
