KARACHI - Deputy Inspector General of Police (Traffic) Khurram Gulzar on Tuesday directed the organisers of Zuljinah processions that it will be mandatory to get stickers to be displayed on the windscreen of their vehicles to participate in processions to be taken out from Nishtar Park to Hussainian Iranian Imambargah Kharadar on 8, 9 and 10 of Muharramul Haram (December 26, 27, and 28, 2009). According to a statement, DIG Khurram Gulzar said that special stickers for the purpose would be issued from December 24 to 27 (6 to 9 Muharramul Haram) from the office of the DIG Traffic at Traffic Security Branch, Garden Headquarters, Agha Khan-III Road. He said that these stickers would only be issued to Ambulances and any other vehicles use by Scouts, Social Welfare Organization, Sabils, Nazar and Niaz distributing vehicles or to any other emergency vehicles. The original and photocopy of the following documents may also be provided to the scrutiny committee for security purpose, he added.
