LAHORE - The PPP should go to the courts against the PML-N as it is blowing the trumpet of corruption cases on 'Sharif Brothers, likewise PML-N Quaid Nawaz Sharif should also tell the masses that the cases against President Zardari registered during his regime are genuine or fake, says Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan. He expressed these views while addressing a news conference along with other party leaders at the residence of Nazim Gulshan-e-Ravi, Mian Harris Saleem on Tuesday. Imran Khan alleged that the PPP and PML-N were pursuing the policy of give-and-take, and by blaming each other for corruption wanted to achieve their personal agendas. He said that those who were employing 'Sindh Card wanted to cover their corruption under the garb of this political move. The PTI will unite all the political forces, civil society, media, students, doctors, labourers and farmers at one platform to raise a single voice against the menace of corruption. We are ready to launch another long march for eradication of corruption and protection of free judiciary, he pledged. Imran maintained that the PTI wanted rule of law in the country and equality based justice system which would benefit both the poor and the rich. He praised the role of media for creating awareness among the masses on various issues. The PTI will take to the streets if corrupt elements tried to pressurise the apex court, he warned and added that corrupt elements had established a 'Corruption Corporation Limited in the country, and a few people under the garb of safeguarding the democracy had been protecting the corrupt elements. He said that bringing the corrupt people to the book would strengthen democracy in the country, adding that across the board accountability should be held. He urged the PML-N Quaid to step ahead and speak the truth regarding cases against the incumbent President. Similarly, he asked the PPP, if they (PPP) had the proof of Sharifs corruption they should go to the courts. He deplored that the PPP sought the assistance of United Nations for a probe into Benazir Bhuttos assassination, as it wanted to conceal the facts from the masses. The PTI Chief said that there was no flaw in the current local government system but it was being used for personal interests. If there are problems in the local government system, they should be removed for the smooth running of the system, he suggested. Mian Harris Saleem, nazim union council Gulshan-i-Ravi along with union council nazims and naib nazims including Waheed Qureshi, Shahzad Saleem, Noor Shah, Shahid Saeed, Hameed Zaman, Goshi Butt, Adnan Butt, Shahida Begum, Arshad Khan, Khalil-ur-Rehman, Muhammad Qayyum and Muhammad Ali reposing full confidence in the leadership of Imran Khan joined the PTI on this occasion.
