LAHORE Two youths succumbed to injuries during road accidents, which took place in different areas of the City on Wednesday. A 22-year-old Babar, student of MA, was crushed by a speeding car in Raiwind city police precincts. According to locals gathered on the spot, the youth was on bike when an unidentified car hit his bike as a result of which he sustained multiple injuries. They, however, rushed him to a nearby hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead. Later, police concerned handed over the body to his heirs after completing necessary medico-legal formalities. A case has also been registered against unknown accused driver with no arrest till filing of this report. Meanwhile, two youths including Gulfam and Anees, residents of Main Bazaar near Hanif Park, were on their way to home after discharging their duties in local workshop when their bike struck into divider wall near Sharanwala Gate in Badami Bagh police limits. They were just rising up when a speedy truck smashed them resultantly Gulfam died on the spot while Anees was rushed to a nearby hospital where his condition was critical, an on duty police investigator said.
